VERTICALE® MULTILOCKING – THE ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM FOR FRACTURES AND COMPLEX DEFORMITIES

FULL CORRECTION CONTROL

VERTICALE MultiLocking is an extension of the VERTICALE dorsal screw-rod-system to facilitate the treatment of complex deformities and spine fractures leveraging both open and minimally invasive technique. VERTICALE MultiLocking allows the surgeon the ability to modify the magnitude of any correction intraoperatively via altering the orientation of the screw tulip independently of the screw shaft.

INNOVATIVE LOCKING FEATURE

The MuliLocking pedicle screws feature an innovative locking mechanism that offers the possibility to lock or release the polyaxiality of the screw head during the correction procedure, without the placement of a rod or a set screw. This innovative locking feature allows the MultiLocking screw to mimic polyaxial and monoaxial pedicle screw capabilities in any orientation. VERTICALE MultiLocking keeps the surgeon in control by removing the need to choose between screw types and giving the freedom to alter and maintain the optimal screw tulip position.

ADDITIONAL CORRECTIVE OPTIONS

In combination with the MultiLocking Fracture Correction Frame, corrective manoeuvers can be performed without the rods inserted. Lordosis and kyphosis can be adjusted, while independently distracting or compressing. Lordotic and kyphotic correction can be achieved in a controllable and progressive manner whilst protecting the spinal cord from the fractured elements and ensuring that the distance between the pedicle screws is kept constant.
