ROCCIA PLIF: THE DUAL CLASSIC FOR THE POSTERIOR APPROACH.

The ROCCIA PLIF (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) was developed for primary stabilization and restoration of physiological lordosis in the lumbar spine and specifically for the challenges posed by the posterior approach. The implants are made of polyether ether ketone (PEEK), a high-performance synthetic material.

FOR FIRM ANCHORAGE.

Symmetrical truncated-pyramidal teeth on the surface of the PEEK implant along with radiographic markers support good primary anchorage of the cage on the base plates and cover plates. These radiographic marker pins facilitate intraoperative imaging during implantation and final positioning of the PLIF cages and also the position check in postoperative examinations, while the cage, when implanted correctly, is largely prevented from sinking in by virtue of its broad supporting surface.

FOR INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT.

The extensive implant portfolio (comprising 3 AP lengths in 7 different heights as well as angles of 5° and 10°) enables individual patient treatment that takes into account the particular pathology and anatomy in each case.
